With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I want you to know how grateful I am that you are here. Your loving encouragement, support, and prayers mean the world to me.
In fact, your everyday kindness for everyone you interact with makes a huge difference.
Have you ever noticed how when you meet and greet others with a sense of gratitude and love that it brings about a change of heart?
You may not see it, or feel it, but even during your highs and lows, there is no doubt in my mind that God is working in and through you everywhere you go.
Ghandi once said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
When you or I are the one to fill a void with generosity, light begins to enter the darkness.
Faith-filled optimism, and a spirit of gratitude radiates hope.
Hope for the hurting, and even hope that the turkey will still thaw on time.
The light of one small candle brings a sense of peace. Suddenly the load feels a little lighter, smiles become a little brighter, and cultivating an attitude of gratitude begins to enrich our lives.
My sweet friend, as you get ready for that slice of pie, that phone call, or whatever your day may bring, “Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5: 19-20).
